Samsung has a 7 inch tablet with SIM card calling facility – Galaxy Tab 2 P3100 which is priced at Rs 19,700 approximately. The tablet boasts a 7 inch PLS display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel resolution as in Nexus 7, 1GHz dual core processor, Android 4.0 ICS, 3MP rear camera and 0.3MP VGA front camera.

Further, the tablet has 8GB/16GB internal memory, 1GB RAM, a micro SD card slot for expandable storage options, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB 2.0 Host and 4,000 mAh Li-ion battery with 20 hours talk time and 800 hours standby.

With the similar price tag and a SIM card slot, rear camera and expandable storage options, the Samsung offering can be potential rival to the Nexus 7.

The tablet houses a 7 inch capacitive 5 point touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution. It is equipped with a 1GHz processor.

Further, Funbook Talk has a 0.3MP VGA front camera, 4GB internal storage, 512MB RAM and a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB expandable memory support.

Flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the tablet has connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro USB 2.0 port. Also, it is loaded with a 2,800 mAh Li-ion battery.

Funbook Talk P350 is available for a price of Rs 7,499, which is very cheap as compared to the Google's offering.

Karbonn Smart Tab 3 Blade

The Karbonn Smart Tab 3 Blade has a 7 inch capacitive 5 point multi touch display with 3D G-sensor for enhanced gaming experience, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, 1.2GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 1GB internal memory, micro SD card slot supporting expandable storage up to 32GB and 2MP camera at the front.

Initially launched at Rs 5,990, the price of Smart Tab 3 has been slashed to Rs 4,990 in order to compete with the other competitors in the market. Again, the low price point of the Karbonn offering is a good selling factor.
