HP Palm Touchpad Opal Coming Soon
HP has come up with the release date of their new HP Palm Touchpad Opal. The model will have its release in the market by October this year. The new HP Palm Touchpad will have an OS specification of Linux, while the embedded operating system is a HP web OS 3.0.

Other attributes of the new HP Palm Touchpad include a microprocessor chipsets of 1500 MHz and a QUALCOMM Snapdragon APQ8060 combined with a browser device. HP Palm Touchpad Opal is enabled with a RAM capacity of 1024 MB and a Flash EEPROM ROM (32GB in bytes). The device is geared up with a TFT display having an IPS color technology inbuilt. The display screen pattern is diagonal having a size of 178 millimeters. The Qualcomm Adreno 220 graphic controller gives out quality images and videos.

The hardware facilities consist of integrated audio subsystems with stereo sound supporting channels. A 3.5mm jack is provided for, standardizing the audio output utility. It supports variant GSM band frequencies. Advanced connectivity options in the new HP Palm Touchpad gives the luxury of several cellular data links like GPRS with EDGE technology, UMTS, and HSUPA. An internal antenna is also provided for capturing even low frequency weak signals. Most recent data transfer interfaces is built in the device. The USB 2.0 offers hi speed data transfer. A micro-B USB series connector is also provided. Added to its advantage is a Bluetooth 2.1. The wireless LAN/Wi-Fi is an IEEE 802.11, ensuring quick access to the internet.

Many general features of a smart phone can be found in HP Palm Touchpad Opal like a built in compass or an accelerometer. The screen is a capacitive touch screen having the most famous gorilla glass display. A Bluetooth stereo audio profile with A2DP and AVRCP supports is also found in the device.

Another highlighted feature of HP Palm Touchpad Opal is its HP Touchstone v2 charging Dock, with which the charging of the device can be accomplished in a decent manner. But critics are worried about the device not having expansion slots for further memory expansions. The device though lacks a primary keyboard and a directional pad or a scroll wheel, with the advanced touch sensors in the device, that won't be a problem. The device won't feature an analog radio receiver or a digital media broadcasting system as per the reports.

But HP Palm Touchpad Opal with its user friendly applications and easy to access menu bars and pop up tools, is determined to create an impression in the beholder.
