HTC Flyer Tablet And Motorola Xoom Tablet Head To Head Comparison
The new innovative design assisted by a 1GHz processor and new android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system was unveiled earlier this year. Many included features of both the new tablet pcs are found to be almost the same, but with added specifications and pleasing surprises, each one demonstrates traits entirely different from one another. The HTC Flyer though has a gingerbread android OS 2.3, definitely matches with the Honeycomb performance in Motorola Xoom. The Flyer in general has a GSM 850/900/1800/1900 2G network and a HSDPA 900/1700/2100 3G network support which is a common attribute in all the new tablet pcs. The key feature that adds justice to the title, the unique android tablet, is a handwriting support in HTC Flyer. A 'magic pen' is provided to make user interface more easier.
Motorola Xoom has a 10.1'' capacitive touch screen with a screen resolution of 1280 X 800 pixel resolution and multi touch, while for Flyer it's a 7 inch LCD capacitive touch screen having a pixel resolution of 600 X 1024 .The Flyer too has a multi touch input method enhanced with two sets of touch sensitive landscape and portrait controls. The dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 connectivity included with a Wi-Fi hotspot is an added feature in Motorola Xoom. It comes with a NVIDIA Tegra 2 AP20H Dual Core processor and other hardware options like micro USB Host functionality and HD TV-Out via micro HDMI port. Combined with a dual LED Flash, the 5MP camera can capture high resolution images without an effort. The tablet enabled with 10 hours of video playback and 3.3 days of music playback has a flash enabled web browser inbuilt in it.
Released this May, the HTC Flyer is already reported to have a high demand with its bonus features and completely new outlooks. The power management unit and many other characteristic feature of the tablet make it one 'hot' tablet in the market. It's fully enabled if we consider the software attributes. The SNS integration, the bonus application features like digital compass, Google search maps etc makes it a full option tablet. Priced at Rs. 25990, the HTC Flyer is absolutely a worthy choice.
