If you think you have seen everything, you haven't. Now, iBall has come up with their own tablet. This is iBall's first tablet and will be known as the iBall Slide. Slide's brand ambassador is none other than popular Bollywood actor, Hrithik Roshan.

iBall Slide is armed with a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. The capacitive 7 inch touchscreen of the Slide has a great display and greater looks. Slide reportedly operates on Google's Android v2.3 Gingerbread Operating System. The new tablet comes with 8 GB external memory and is of course extensible up to 32 GB. Connectivity choices in the iBall Slide tablet include WiFi and 3G on dongle support. It obviously has USB ports and on-the-go port allow file transmission and sharing from pen drives and other connective storage devices and is pretty fast too. With the USB host, the new tablet can be attached to computers as well. HDMI support enables the users to view high definition videos.

For enhanced comfort or experience, iBall Slide also lets you connect Bluetooth devices like headsets, keyboards and mouse. An efficient 4400 mAh Lithium ion battery is the major factor of the great battery backup of the new tablet offering up to 6.5 hours of continuous music playback and 5 hours of video playback. The camera is a bit disappointing with only 2 megapixels at the rear. But pictures have nice quality though and are satisfying. Besides HD video compatibility, Slide is also apt for playing 3D games as well. Highlighted features in the tablet include Visual Search, Voice recognition and action, easy and simple-to-operate web browsers, email/chat services, social networking easy-access applications, news update applications, eBooks, weather update apps and tons of useful applications from the Android Market, for which easy accessibility option is provided.

Another cool application is the Documents-to-go that lets the users work on MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and PDF documents. Director of iBall, Mr Sandeep Parasrampuria claimed that iBall chose Hrithik Roshan for a reason, which is that he is the only Bollywood actor with traits similar to the Slide namely Perfection, innovation, style, trendsetting and promising. Hrithik Roshan when asked about the product and him being the ambassador reported to the media that he was very impressed by the growth and development of iBall in a decade and their passion in bringing up a cool product like Slide. Hrithik also hopes to see India sliding along and having fun with the Slide.
