iPad Mini: Price Gets Listed in German Retailer site


At a time when speculations are going on about the existence of iPad Mini, a German retailer site has published the price of iPad Mini and its variants, according to MobileGeeks new report. The detailed pricing list published in the site gives Apple fans a brief idea regarding the pricing Apple might choose to go ahead with. However, it is yet to be confirmed officially.

The leaked listing of iPad Mini suggests the availability of a range of iPad Mini variants for users to choose from. The storage capacities offered include 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Users can choose iPad Mini either as a Wi-Fi model or 3G variant as per their requirements. The device is expected to be made available for users in black and white colours.

As per the reports, 8GB Wi-Fi model of iPad Mini will cost $323 (Rs. 17,000) where as the Wi-Fi plus 3G variant will ship for a price tag of $452 (Rs. 21,000). It also states that 16GB Wi-Fi model will be available for $452 (Rs. 21, 000) where as the 3G variant of the 16GB model is expected to be priced around $582 (Rs.27,000). The higher-end 32GB and 64GB Wi-Fi models will be available for a price tag of $582 (Rs.27,000) and $711(Rs. 36,000) respectively where as the 3G variants will be priced around $711 (Rs.36, 000) and $841 (Rs. 41,000) respectively.

It seems that Apple is not planning for any kind of competition with Google Nexus 7 if the pricing of the base version of iPad Mini is something to go by. Google Nexus 7 base version tablet is expected to be priced around $199 (Rs. 11, 000) whereas iPad Mini base version is priced at $323 (Rs. 17, 000). There are rumours which suggest that iPad Mini will be announced at a press event on October 23.
