Kobian's Cheap tablet, Android OS Mercury mTab2 version is out in the market
Mercury mTab was one among the first tablets to be introduced under below Rs 10,000 category in India. Now after mTab, Kobian, the manufacturers of computer peripherals and accessories are bringing out the newer version of its tablet, the mTab2. The tablets will be branded under the name Mercury same as that of the mTab.

New tablet from Kobian has some exciting features and with the promise of finding the device in the stores at affordable prices, excitement is at its peak. New mTab has features like a
7 inch (16:9) multi touch screen display
The device is powered by a powerful dual core 1 GHz processor
Android Gingerbread OS with guaranteed support of newer and efficient applications
Inbuilt memory storage of 8 GB and an external memory support which is expandable up to a 32 GB using a microSD card
Front facing camera for improved video conferencing and calls
The tablets has several other features too that would resemble the 3G support offered by some high end tablets. Though Mercury mTab2 is not 3G compatible, it features a WiFi utility and also a USB-3G dongles. The tablet can be coupled with its USB port v2.0, to external hardware like a USB keyboard, pen drive or a mouse. The entire unit has a power backup up to 8 hours.
The tablet is also fitted with an HDMI port for getting the display to a much bigger screen like that of a Television or computer monitor. It has included Flash 10.2 in it and also a built in loud speaker and mic.
The company aims for more targets with the confidence they have gained from their mTablet sales which was a widely accepted one with record sales from the markets it were introduced. The company officials expressed their gratitude to the customers for their support and shared their hopes of people finding the new mTab2 more refreshing and even more delightful.
The company representative in India for Kobian, manager Sushmita Das said, this time the tablet comes with more integrated features like the USB, battery and internal storage and also is much lighter than the previous version. It was also given, a hint about the company planning to launch their next generation models very soon.
New mercury mTab2 comes with a warranty period which is a one year, and also with the price tagging of an affordable rate of Rs 12, 000/-
