Lenovo IdeaTab A2109 vs Google Nexus 7: Low-priced Tablet Fight Gets Fiercer

Since the first iPad was released, the existing tablet market across the world is dominated by Apple. Now, it seems like there are other dominators in the tablet market, as the others are trying hard to catch hold of the market with their latest offerings.

In June, Google announced its Nexus 7 tablet – the first device to run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. The tablet has received grave reviews from the users and tech gossipers. Further, it is a budget Android tablet priced at Rs 17,000 approximately.

Verdict

If the customization of the device is not of much importance to you, the Lenovo tablet could be a second choice as compared to Nexus 7, the first device to ship with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean comes with outstanding features like Project Butter, richer notifications, a new Voice Search feature, resizable widgets, Android Beam, Google Now, improved camera and many more.

However, IdeaTab A2109 is a good offering which rectifies the shortcomings in the Nexus 7, such as the lack of front camera. Further, the price of the IdeaTab is pretty impressive when compared to that of the large screen tablets in the market.
