Lenovo Ivy Bridge laptops expected in June

Actually Intel has not confirmed when its 22nm Ivy Bridge processors will be out in the market. There are rumours that there won"t be much delay to experience a next generation processor. The current news revealed that Chief River implementation will be available at least by the 5th of June. Chief River Ivy Bridge notebooks are the latest talk in the laptop market.


Huron River models which are already their top sellers will continue their sales through September. Company officials mentioned that users can start purchasing new Ivy Bridge laptops by June itself. They warned that the channel stock may not be out there until September.

The new Intel processors assure more powerful performance that too without consuming much energy. This is made possible with the help of new tri-gate transistors which offers more switching capabilities. There will be comparatively more number of transistors per chip. Also a HD 4000 integrated GPU will be available which assures up to 50% improved performance. The battery life won"t be compromised for this improved performance.

The earlier news was that Intel"s Ivy Bridge processor will most probably be made available by 23rd April. Then news leaked that it will be out by 29th April only. And the final news is that it will be out by June only. Youngsters are hoping that there won"t be any further delay to experience the next generation processor.

Other hardware and software specs of this product are not mentioned by the company. With the inclusion of Intel"s Ivy Bridge processor, Lenovo admirers can expect more surprises from the company. No price details of this advanced laptop are out until now. Users are expecting to purchase this laptop at an affordable price.
