Lenovo launches ThinkStation E31 PC with Ivy Bridge processors

Lenovo lovers are pleased as the company showcases its new gadget ThinkStation E31 in 2 different sizes. One among the two versions includes conventionally sized tower budget workstation and the other is a compact one. Both these versions will have almost same basic specs which is interesting news for Lenovo fans.

This system will be powered by Intel Xeon E3-1200 CPU. Users will also have an option for to go for systems supported by Ivy Bridge processors too.

Apart from running Windows 7 / XP, this Lenovo system supports Windows 8 operating system also. ThinkStation E31 successfully runs in Red Hat as well. The full size tower model can have a maximum of three HDDs or else a 9TB of hard drive storage. But the compact model can have a maximum of 2 HDDs only or else a 6TB of hard drive storage. In both cases users have options for solid state drives.
