Maingear has launched what is believed to be the ultimate gaming notebook available in the market – Maingear Vybe 15 Notebook.

The 15 inch notebook has been designed keeping hardcore gamers in mind. The device will impress the consumers on the first look itself with its sleek design and the smooth silver exterior. The notebook is available in four variations-Good, Better, Best and Ultimate.

Which are the four versions?

The four variations of the device available follow four different high end configurations.

The “Good” version is powered by Core i5 3360M processor. The functionalities of this version is further powered by an 8GB DDR3-1333 RAM. Graphics is supported by Kepler-running GeForce 650M with 2GB RAM. This version comes with an inbuilt storage capacity of 500 GB.

” Better” version features Core i7 3520M processor which also has a 8GB DDR3-1333 RAM for enhancing the functionalities. The graphics hardware is the same as that for the previous version. Storage capacity of this version stands at 750 GB.

” Best” version is powered by Core i7 3720QM processor which is accompanied by 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM. Storage specifications include 750 GB SATA along with 128 GB SSD.

The “Ultimate” version accommodates a powerful Core i7 3820QM processor. The highlight feature of this version is the 16 GB DDR3-1600 RAM which seamlessly supports the execution of heavy tasks like HD Video Editing and HD Gaming. It incorporates a 750 GB Sata HDD along with 256 GB SSD.

Both the “Better” and “Ultimate” versions use Kepler-running GeForce 660M with 2GB RAM for enhancing the graphics output.

Other features

Maingear Vybe 15 Notebook has a full 1080p HD LED-backlit matte finish display which performs impressively well with high definition videos. Exceptional sound quality is ensured with the four speakers using TruStudio Pro Sound feature. It features a multi-touch track pad with on/off capabilities. Video chatting and conferencing is supported by a 1.3 MP webcam. The device is also accompanied by gold plated headphones and mic jacks. HDMI and VGA ports are also present in the device.

Pricing

Attributed to the magnanimous features, Maingear Vybe 15 series laptops come at comparatively high price range. The “Good” version comes at a price tag of $1099 whereas the “Better” version stands at $1299.The “Best” and “Ultimate” versions come at $1599 and $1999 respectively. The high pricing is justified by the exceptional performance, extreme storage and high end multimedia capabilities of the gaming laptops.  T he Vybe 15 "Good" and "Better" configurations are available today, while the "Best" and "Ultimate" models will start shipping on August 17.
