Mercury Launches m Tab, Powerful Tablet
Mercury has set its foot on the tablet market by launching its first tablet in the Indian market. The company has enabled the tablet with some quality configurations and attributes. The new tablet pc is named Mercury m Tab. The size of the tablet is a 19.3cmX11.7cmX1.4cm. The display is a TFT LCD capacitive touch and the unit as a whole weighs just 400 grams. The new tablet has a very efficient Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system. The power will be awesome in the new tablet pc with the tablet featuring a 1GHz 3 core processor. The device has a 512 MB RAM.

Memory storage in m Tab is a satisfying 4GB inbuilt storage with a provision for expanding the memory to a mesmerizing 32 GB. The specifications are almost similar to some of the recently launched tablets in the market. A similarly configured tablet out in the market is the Beetel Magiq. Mercury m Tab however showcases a far better configuration beating the others in many attributes.

 

Comparing it with the newly released Reliance 3G Tab, the specification for the Mercury leads again in all aspects of the performance of device. The new tablet pc is reported to have a very fine and undisrupted run too. A HDMI port provided can be used to connect the tablet to an HD TV.

 

Connectivity of the Mercury m Tab is something that must be dealt with utmost care. The basic usage of the tablet greatly depends on the internet and its connectivity. So compromises in this area would affect the overall performance and hence the demand of the device. Mercury however has a much enhanced connectivity.

Mercury m Tab has a very strong compatibility with the 3G networks and also the WiFi networks. The company is giving offers in terms of packages and thus gifting the users with free internet usage. Further details on the tablet and associated offers will be announced on the first of September when the gadgets hit all the leading shops in the country.

The tablet will be featured with a 1.3 Mega Pixel camera that would assist the users to make video calls via the tablet. The tablet is claimed to have been facilitated with a multi format video / audio player which could be played up to a continuous 7 hours. This will be assured by a very efficient 4000 mAh battery.

Talking about the event, the manager for Mercury, India, Sushmitha Das said that the company believes in bringing out quality devices fitting common user's budget and promised that the new tablet will be packed with most desirable applications to give an entirely new experience.

The company as promised has tagged the tablets with affordable price rates. In India the Mercury m Tab would cost only around Rs 9,499.
