Microsoft Surface Full Specs and Prices Released

One of the most anticipated devices of the year, Microsoft Surface is going to hit the market on October 26, alongside Windows 8 launch. The Surface tablets that runs on Windows 8 and Windows RT operating system was unveiled by the software giant in June 2012.

With the new tablet range, the software giant aims jumps to the hardware bandwagon, complying to that Microsoft US store has recently revealed the prices of the Surface tablets informing that the company will offer the table to the consumers in three different variants on the basis of storage capacity and Touch Cover (cover with keyboard and trackpad), confirming that it will come in two different storage versions, 32 GB and 64 GB.

The lineup starts at $499 with Surface 32 GB without Touch Cover. For $599, you get the same model, with the Touch Cover. Leading the pack is Surface 64 GB with Touch Cover, priced at $699. The store is accepting pre-orders for all available color options of Surface and Touch Cover. Orders will delivered as early as by October 26.

With the information on the pricing of the new Surface tablets, Microsoft has also disclosed all technical specs of the upcoming tablet with the tablet informed to boast two 720p HD cameras, one on the front and another one on the rear, and also two microphones and stereo speakers.

Further, Surface tablet features an Nvidia T30 chip and 2 GB of RAM, with a 10.6-inch ClearType HD display and a resolution of 1366x768 pixels.

The Black Touch Cover weighs only 0.2 kgs and is just 3 mm thin. Further, below is the full list of specs integrated in the Surface tablet.
