    NEC, a major name in the consumer electronics arena has announced the release of NEC Lifetouch L android tablet. It will be available across the market in mainly two versions. One is 16 GB version and the other is 32 GB version of this tablet. Users can opt for the one of their wish depending on their requirements. This tablet will be officially available for purchase from July 5th onwards. NEC Lifetouch L tablet is available for both business users as well as common users. 

    NEC Lifetouch L tablet will have a screen display size of 10.1 inches with a display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The screen of this tablet consists of wide viewing angles. The tablet is powered by Android 4.0 operating system. The processor in this tablet is dual core 1.5 GHz OMAP4460 processor. This tablet also weighs around 540 grams only. This light weight makes this tablet an extremely portable one. The tablet also has a sleek and slim design. The thickness of this tablet is just around 7.9 mm to be more precise that places this tablet even below Toshiba Excite 10.

     NEC Lifetouch L tablet makes use of a battery that is capable of providing 13 hours of maximum battery life while searching and also 10 hours of battery life while viewing video. This tablet is supported by 5 GHz band. It also makes use of an integrated Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity.

    The tablet is designed so that users can find and use applications with ease. It also includes a security application for children. That feature is designed to restrict their use and keep them safe online. 

    The tablet for the business users provides security features such as prevention of theft and loss. It also provides secured access to the corporate networks. The fully loaded version of NEC Lifetouch L tablet is expected to be available at a price tag of around Rs. 31,000/-.
