New cheaper tablet model from Archos unveiled
Archos tablets are in high demand in many parts of the world because of their very low price tag and comparatively better features than other budget tablets. Those who are looking for budget tablets have now a cheaper option from Archos.
Archos has recently introduced a new device in the Arnova line up of tablets. Arnova line up consists of android powered devices that has some good features and specs and offers the users a very good value for their money. The latest device form the company is termed as Arnova 8b G2. This is a new and improved version of the Arnova 8 G2.
Features and specifications of Arnova 8b G2:

- 800 x 600 pixels resolution
- 1 GHz processor
- 512MB of RAM
- 4GB or 8GB internal storage space
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth
The new tablets features design elements that are similar to the earlier model. The sides are tapered and the corners are rounded off with an overall black colour scheme. The black colouring is given a matte finish and this prevents finger prints in the back cover. The build quality is good and durable so it is obvious that no cost cutting is done in the terms of quality of materials used.
There are no physical buttons in the front. Navigation buttons are moved to the status bar like many of the other contemporary budget tablets. The casing has good ergonomics so you will be able to use it very easily by holding it in your palms.
The display has a size of 8 inches. It packs in a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and is of LCD backlit type. The tablet is powered by a processor having a clock speed of 1 GHz. The tablet is provided with 512 MB of RAM and also has internal storage memory. Two versions varying in the internal storage memory are available; you can either go for the 4 GB model or the 8GB model. The tablet currently runs n Android Gingerbread operating system. It might get a bump to Android ice cream sandwich in the near future.
The price tag of Arnova 8b G2 is not known as for now. The speculation is that it will be priced below Rs 10,000/-.
