The World's largest PC manufacturer Hewlett Packard or HP as it is affectionately called by people all over the world has had a significant presence in the Indian desktop and laptop market. The products of the company have always been beckoned and universally recognized for their uniqueness in style, quality and substance.

Even though they were on the higher side of the price band HP always managed to provide some form of uniqueness to their products and customers were always satisfied with the products they bought from HP.

Keeping in mind the need to maintain market share with the rise in competition HP has announced the launch of several new laptop models and computer accessories in the Indian market.

Of these the most significant ones are the newly announced HP ProBook M series and EliteBook P series Laptops and the HP 2560p Docking station.

Both the laptop series have been incorporated with the FORGE design themes followed by HP in its models. The name FORGE is an abbreviation of Form Optimized Richness Green Endurance.

The new models introduced under the 2 series are the HP Elite Book 2560p from the EliteBook series. HP Elite Book 2560p is pegged by HP as the smallest and lightest Elite variant. The Laptop has a 12.5 inch high definition display that is best suited for viewing high graphical videos and games. It has been touted to deliver high performance and weighs in at just 1.63 KG. it has a standard voltage processor that does not consume a lot of power as most HP systems do and also it has an Optical drive as a standard option.

Next in line is the HP ProBook 5330 M is very slim as it has a thickness of less than 1 inch. The interesting fact is that HP ProBook 5330 M has a dual-tone color scheme which is unique in nature and also comes with an aluminum chassis and backlit keyboard. It looks as if HP has focused more on the design and looks of the HP ProBook 5330 M.

HP ProBook 5330 M is also the first business class notebook from HP to offer Beats Audio which was developed as a joint venture by HP and Beats by Dr. Dre. The feature facilitates music to be heard by listeners in the way it was intended to be heard by the artists who made the music.

HP 2560p Docking station is purely meant for business professionals as it offers connectivity solutions such as USB ports, VGA ports, HDMI ports and even eSATA ports.

The HP ProBook 5330 M and HP Elite Book 2560p are priced in the range of Rs 40000 to Rs 80000 and the price of the Docking Station is yet to be announced by HP.
