As claimed by Acer, the Predator Orion 9000 is India's first gaming desktop to pack Intel's Core i9 Extreme Processor and Optane Memory.
Acer today announced the launch of the Predator Orion 9000 gaming desktop in India. The device was first unveiled at last year's IFA in September. As claimed by the company, it is India's first gaming desktop to pack Intel's Core i9 Extreme Processor and Optane Memory.

The Predator Orion 9000 gaming desktop carries a price tag of Rs. 3,19,999. It will be available for purchase from today via Chroma stores and Acer's exclusive stores. As stated, the newly launched Acer gaming desktop is powered by an Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition 18-core processor which is coupled with up to 128GB quad-channel DDR4 memory.
The Acer Predator Orion 9000 packs two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti graphics cards for providing a great gaming experience. The desktop also comes with Intel's Optane memory and a 2TB hard disk for further expansion of memory.
Connectivity features onboard include two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports (one Type-C and one Type-A), eight USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (one Type-C and seven Type-A) and two USB 2.0 ports (Type-A). Additionally, it supports three M.2 slots and four PCIe x16 slots for video cards.
The Predator Orion 9000 is equipped with liquid cooling and Acer's IceTunnel 2.0 so the device doesn't overheat during long gaming sessions. Further, it features an airflow management solution for separating the system into thermal zones.

In terms of design, the Acer Predator Orion 9000 seems to have borrowed the design from a spacecraft. It has Black and Silver detailing with customizable RGB lighting along the edges at the front part. The desktop also has two handles and wheels which are coated with a carbon fiber pattern.
