AMD Radeon RX 7600 desktop graphics card launched to compete with Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU
AMD has officially announced a new desktop graphics card in its Radeon series. The AMD Radeon RX 7600 arrives as the most affordable graphics card in Team Red's RDNA 3 based 7000-series.
The AMD Radeon RX 7600 price starts from $269 (roughly Rs 22,300). The card will be available directly through AMD or through partners including Asus, ASRock, Gigabyte, MSI, Sapphire, Biostar, Vastarmor, XFX, PowerColor, and Yeston starting today (May 25).

AMD Radeon RX 7600 Performance
The AMD Radeon RX 7600 graphics card is built on the company's RDNA 3 architecture, featuring redesigned compute units with unified raytracing and AI accelerators and second-generation AMD Infinity Cache technology. The card is designed to deliver a top tier 1080p gaming experience. AMD is targeting 60+ FPS at 1080p in in high fidelity with AV1 technology.
AMD claims that the RX 7600 can deliver 29% higher performance on average than the Radeon RX 6600 GPU and 34% higher performance on average than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. The Radeon RX 7600 GPU offers the latest features including AMD's Radiance Display Engine and full AV1 encoding.
It is ideally suited for high-performance, high-fidelity 1080p gaming. In its release, AMD notes that the card "allows users to enjoy the latest features like AV1 encoding, the AMD Radiance Display Engine and more to take their gaming, streaming and content creation projects to the next level."
AMD Radeon RX 7600 Specs
The new RX 7600 card features 32 compute units, 2048 stream processors, and 128 texture units, which are a third of the flagship RX 7900 XTX GPU. The Infinity Cache is reduced to 32 MB, while the card has 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The RX 7600 GPU also boasts a game clock speed of 2.25 GHz and boost clock speed of 2.66 GHz.
The card includes AV1 encode and decode support, HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps), and DisplayPort 2.1 (54Gbps). AMD's new affordable graphics card has a total TBP of 165W. The new card also comes with features like Ultra-High-Definition Encoding, AMD Radiance Display Engine, and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR).
