Apple has announced the launch of the new 24-inch iMac, powered by the M3 chip, which promises to deliver up to 2x faster performance compared to the previous model.

The new iMac comes in seven vibrant colors, making it a visually appealing addition to any space. The M3-powered iMac offers a best-in-class camera, speakers, and mics, along with macOS Sonoma. Apart from the new iMac models, Apple also unveiled its M3 series of chipsets at its latest "Scary Fast" event.

The 24-inch iMac with M3 price in India will start from Rs 1,34,900 and Rs 1,29,900 for education. The new iMac is offered in green, pink, blue, and silver colors. This version of the iMac features an 8-core GPU.

The new 24-inch iMac with M3 are already up for pre-order in India and in 26 other regions through the Apple Store. However, it will be arriving in Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers starting Tuesday, November 7.

The M3 chip brings significant improvements to the iMac's performance, featuring an 8-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, and support for up to 24GB of unified memory. It is up to 2x faster than the previous generation with the M1 chip.

The new iMac is also up to 2.5x faster than the most popular 27-inch Intel-based models and 4x faster than the most powerful 21.5-inch model. It boasts an expansive 4.5K Retina display with over 11 million pixels and a billion colors.

For creative professionals, the new iMac allows for editing and playback of up to 12 streams of 4K video, production in editing software like Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro, and faster processing of photos in apps like Adobe Photoshop.
