As indicated by references of the OS X El Capitan, the new 21.5 inch iMac's 4K display will come with a resolution of 4096 x 2304, which is way more than what is found in the existing model - Full HD (1920x1080).

Tipster also hint at a faster processor and improved color saturation level. Due to the bump up in resolution, it is expected that the price of the iMac will be elevated too.
