BenQ MA270S 5K Monitor Launched in India: Check Price, Specs, and Features

BenQ has introduced the MA270S in India, a new 5K monitor that’s clearly aimed at Mac users. The display is now available across retail stores and online platforms at ₹94,998.

This one sits in the premium category and focuses on things that matter more to creators and professionals, like resolution, color consistency, and how well it works with macOS.

5K Resolution And Color Tuning

The MA270S comes with a 5K panel (5120 × 2880) and a pixel density of 218 ppi. That puts it close to what you’d expect from a Mac display in terms of sharpness.

It also covers 99% of the P3 color gamut and offers a 2000:1 contrast ratio. The idea is to reduce the usual color mismatch you get when connecting a MacBook to an external monitor.

There’s also a 70Hz refresh rate here. It’s not a gaming-focused panel, but it should feel a bit smoother than standard 60Hz displays in day-to-day use.

Software Integration With macOS

A big part of this monitor is how it integrates with macOS. BenQ is bundling its Display Pilot 2 software, which adds a few practical features:

• Automatic color profile syncing with Mac
• Brightness and volume control using the Mac keyboard
• Screen partitioning and workspace management
• Auto pivot and multi-screen control

Instead of behaving like a typical external display, the idea is to make it feel closer to a native extension of a Mac setup.

Connectivity And Setup

The MA270S supports Thunderbolt 4 with up to 96W power delivery. That means you can connect and charge a laptop using a single cable.

It also supports daisy chaining for dual 5K displays, which can be useful if you’re working across multiple screens.

You also get HDMI and USB-C ports, along with Smart KVM support for switching between devices using the same keyboard and mouse.

Design And Adjustability

On the design side, BenQ is using a Nano Gloss panel that aims to improve contrast while keeping reflections in check.

The stand supports height adjustment up to 150mm, along with tilt, swivel, and pivot, so it should be easy to adjust based on your setup.
