CES 2025 | Gigabyte Launches New AORUS QD-OLED Monitors with Advanced Features and Premium Specs
At CES 2025, Gigabyte introduced two QD-OLED monitors, the AORUS FO27Q5P and MO27U2. These models focus on delivering exceptional speed and colour precision. The AORUS FO27Q5P features a groundbreaking 500Hz refresh rate, while the MO27U2 offers a 4K resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate. Both monitors incorporate OLED Care technology to prevent burn-in, ensuring vibrant and long-lasting visuals.

AORUS FO27Q5P: Speed and Performance
The AORUS FO27Q5P is designed for esports enthusiasts, boasting a 500Hz refresh rate, the fastest in its category. It aims to be the preferred choice for competitive gamers. This monitor meets VESA-certified ClearMR 13000 standards and is set to achieve ClearMR 21000 certification soon. With VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, it delivers deep blacks and precise shadow details.
MO27U2: Clarity and Colour Accuracy
The MO27U2 offers a compact 27-inch display with a remarkable 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. It provides an impressive 166 PPI resolution, ensuring extraordinary clarity and colour fidelity. Pantone certification further guarantees its colour accuracy. This monitor caters to both hybrid gamers and professionals engaged in AAA gaming or creative tasks.
Both monitors feature Gigabyte's OLED Care technology, an AI-driven panel protection system that prevents burn-in and extends display lifespan. Additional features include Tactical Switch 2.0 for optimising display settings, Night Vision, and Black Equalizer 2.0 for enhanced gameplay visibility in FPS games.
The AORUS FO27Q5P also includes DP2.1 UHBR20 bandwidth compatibility with next-gen GPUs, enabling seamless gaming at its maximum refresh rate of 500Hz. This ensures users experience smooth gameplay without any interruptions or lag.
