Dell launches XPS 15 notebook with world’s first InfinityEdge display in India

    Dell has announced the launch of company's premium notebook XPS 15 in the Indian market. The PC leader will sell the notebook via company's official website and at select Dell Exclusive Stores, Croma and Reliance Digital outlets at a starting price of Rs. 1,17,990. Dell XPS 15 is touted as the most powerful XPS and the smallest 15-inch notebook in the world.

    Known for its virtually borderless InfinityEdge display, Dell XPS 15 is powered by a 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ Quad-Core processor (6M Cache, up to 3.8 GHz) and offers the gaming grade NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 with 4GB GDDR5 graphics.

    Dell XPS 15 flaunts a vivid 15.6-inch screen packed into a 14-inch form factor. The premium notebook is said to be the lightest and most powerful XPS laptop produced by Dell till date. It weighs a little over 1.8 kilograms and has 11-17 mm thickness. The notebook is crafted out of a single block of aluminum for a sturdy, durable chassis.

    Besides, one of the most notable on-paper features of XPS 15 is its long lasting battery life. As per Dell, the XPS 15 can last upto a good 19 hours, 30 minutes when using productivity applications - the longest battery life in a 15-inch laptop.

    Dell XPS 15 comes equipped with a backlit keyboard and precision touchpad that supports panning, pinching and zooming. The palm rest of the device is made from carbon fiber. The notebook supports Stereo Speaker, Dual Microphones, High Definition Audio with Waves MaxxAudio Pro for an enhanced audio experience on the go.

    The Full HD screen of the Dell XPS 15 has a viewing angle of up to 170° and as far as connectivity is concerned, the device sports a Thunderbolt 3 multi-use port allowing users to charge the laptop and also connect to multiple devices including support for up to two 4K displays.
