IFA 2017: Qualcomm confirms first Windows 10 ARM PC will come with Snapdragon 835

It has been revealed that the Windows 10 ARM PC with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter.

We know that Qualcomm and Microsoft have been collaborating to bring the first Windows 10 PC with ARM in the market. While at IFA 2017 in Berlin, we did not see the PC being launched but Qualcomm did confirm that the first Windows 10 ARM PC will come with Snapdragon 835 processor.

Besides, it has been revealed that the Windows 10 ARM PC is coming or scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter. Well, we might have to wait just a little bit longer to finally witness what the two companies have really come up with. Qualcomm also again confirmed that Windows 10 PC with Snapdragon 835 is coming soon.

However, the company held back on disclosing the details of the device. At the event, the company just stated, "Stay tuned to learn more about how Windows PCs powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC Platform are delivering breakthrough user experiences."

As far as what we know, the ARM PC is expected to be slim and light-weight should have a long battery life and LTE connectivity as well as stylus support. Basically, we might be seeing smartphone like features, as Snapdragon chipset has been designed for mobile devices. Talking about the price, various tech enthusiasts suggest that the new product from Microsoft and Qualcomm will be a little expensive one. It will be interesting to see whether other brands will also release their own version as well or not.

Till date, Windows 10 worked with x86 chips only but now it seems that Microsoft is going head to head with Intel in the space and changing the game completely.
