Microsoft Brings Surface Pro 12-Inch Copilot+ PCs to India From ₹90,999
Microsoft has introduced its latest Surface Pro 12-inch Copilot+ PCs in India, expanding its lineup of AI-powered devices. The new model comes in two storage variants and arrives just ahead of the festive shopping season.

Pricing and Availability
The Surface Pro 12-inch is priced at ₹90,999 for the 256GB version and ₹99,999 for the 512GB version. Preorders are open until October 5 across major online and offline retailers, with sales starting October 6. Customers who preorder will also receive the Surface Pro Keyboard bundled at no additional cost.
Hardware and Battery
Weighing about 680 grams, the device is among the lighter 2-in-1 PCs in the market. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus processor, which features a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU) for handling AI tasks. Microsoft claims the device can last up to 16 hours on video playback, positioning it as a machine for all-day use without frequent charging.

Design and Flexibility
The Surface Pro continues with its familiar 2-in-1 design, pairing a tablet form factor with a detachable keyboard and built-in kickstand. The keyboard has been updated with backlit keys, a larger touchpad, and a dedicated Copilot key for quick AI access. The device also supports the Surface Slim Pen, which attaches magnetically for charging and storage, catering to users who rely on stylus input.
AI Features
The Surface Pro 12-inch comes with Copilot+ PC features integrated into Windows. These include Recall, which helps retrace past activity across apps and files, and Click to Do, which scans on-screen content and suggests actions. Features like Photos Relight bring professional-style edits directly into the built-in Photos app. Some of these AI tools are still rolling out gradually and may first appear for Windows Insider users before reaching all buyers.
Sustainability
Microsoft says the Surface Pro 12-inch enclosure uses over 80% recycled materials, while the battery includes recycled cobalt. The design also emphasizes repairability, with certain components now replaceable, reflecting a broader industry push toward reducing e-waste.
