OlivePad 2 Tablet To Be Launched Soon
The new OlivePad 2 will have a more powerful processor than it had in the OlivePad tablet. Added to that, an updated version of Android is also featured which is a version 2.3 Operating System.
The new device comes with improved design and considerable changes in specifications. OlivePad 2 will be thinner than the older version of OlivePad. It will be comparatively lighter too. To give it a classy look, the texture in the back of the device is decided to be croc leather finish.
The software specification gets notable with the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS assisted by a 1 GHz processor. The combination of a 512 MB with the device configuration makes it much more fluid to work with the device.
OlivePad 2 is assembled with some of the best connectivity utilities available in the market. The devices are updated and are guaranteed to give a high performance instant access to the supported networks. The connectivity devices in OlivePad 2 consists of a WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and for improved 3G network accessibility, a dedicated HSDPA is also present. The previous OlivePad had a dongle connecting the device to the 3G. But this time; it will be replaced by an inbuilt modem.
Talking about the launch, the chairman for Olive Telecom, Mr Arun Khanna said that the company is planning to focus more on smart phones and tablets and thereby strengthening the distribution network. The unavailability of Olive products in the shops was a major complaint by the consumers in the market, which is about to be solved very soon. He added that the next new tablet pc launched by the company will feature a much updated OS and an even more powerful processor.
The new tablet pc will have a camera in the front and rear and they will demonstrate a very good performance. The 7 inch capacitive touch screen of the latest tablet has an awesome pixel resolution support. A microSD card slot is provided for expanding the memory storage of the device externally. The OlivePad 2 is expected to have a price in India of around Rs 20,000.
