Panasonic Toughbook SX2 Notebook Launched with 12.1-inch Display, Intel Core i5-3320M and More
Panasonic has added a offspring in the notebook PC market with the launch of its next generation business-rugged notebook PC line, the Toughbook SX2.According to the company's press release, the new device comes with advanced features including 14.5 hours of battery life, an Intel Core i5-3320M vPro processor (3 MB cache, up to 3.3 GHz) with Intel Turbo Boost Technology and a lightweight, drop-resistant magnesium alloy design, the Toughbook SX2 is engineered to meet the standards of quality for which Toughbook mobile computers are known while providing maximum portability for highly valued executives and professionals."Technology enables many professionals today to work from virtually anywhere, but this freedom creates a new set of issues when users are not equipped with the right tools for the job – device failures mean frustration, lost productivity and revenue, plus substantial repair and replacement costs," said Kyp Walls, director of product management, Panasonic Solutions for Business. Pricing and AvailabilityThe Panasonic Toughbook SX2 will be available later this month from authorized Panasonic resellers starting at $2,649 (approx. Rs 1,39,469). The Toughbook SX2 includes a standard three-year limited warranty.
