Pantel with BSNL Launches Penta T-Pad WS703C: 2G SIM Slot, 3D enabled Tablet at Rs 6,999

Pantel Technologies Private Limited (PTPL) in association with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) has launched India's first 2G SIM Slot Tablet PC -- Penta T-Pad WS703C.

Talking about specs, Penta T-Pad WS703C is an affordable tablet priced at Rs 6,999 and comes with TF card expansion slot, voice call feature, 7" 3D enabled capacitive touch screen, front and rear cameras, HDMI ports, an extra long battery life and much more.

Further, Penta T-Pad WS703C will come loaded with 4GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor, inbuilt 2G SIM slot and also 3G Dongle compatibility.

As claimed by the company, the tablet will also support 3D feature, allowing the user to enjoy uninterrupted 3D viewing on the Penta T-pad multi-touch capacitive screen. The 'all-port' architecture on this model will include features like Dual Camera, HDMI port to help you connect and enjoy HD video on your HDTV, Mini USB port to further charge and connect to speakers, keyboard or any other I/O device and a TF Card slot for storage expandability of upto 32GB -providing for a seamless user experience.

According to the partneship of the Noida-based manufacturer with BSNL, the tablet will offer reverse data plans bundled with the entire range of Penta TPAD tablet PC(s). These include the Rs. 125 (4GB of 2G data free in 60 days) and Rs. 150 (2GB of 3G data free in 60 days) pre-paid offerings that can be availed off by the consumer at the time of purchase of the Penta T-Pad tablet PC(s).

Present at the announcement were Hon'ble Minister of HRD, Telecom and IT, Govt of India, Shri Kapil Sibal, launching India's first Voice call based tablet PC with 3D enabled capacitive touch screen, the Penta T-Pad WS703C today. Penta T-Pad WS703C is a performance oriented tablet PC that comes with TF card expansion slot, voice call feature, 7" 3D enabled capacitive touch screen, front and rear cameras, HDMI ports, an extra long battery life and much more.

The first customers of the Penta T-Pad WS703C model were the meritorious students of the SSLC - 2012 exam in Kerala. A total of 674 units were given to the students today under a unique merit initiative.
