    Pioneer, an Australian based computer maker is about to update the DreamBook Power model with a new DreamBook Power W17CR. It comes up with Intel’s Ivy Bridge 3rd generation Core processor, which will ensure higher processing efficiency. The overall features of this DreamBook laptop give an impression that it is a big gaming machine. 

    DreamBook Power W17CR is out with a wide display screen of 17.3 inches. This screen is expected to output crystal brightness with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1920 X 1080 pixels resolution. It’s built in web camera of 2.0 mega pixel makes it a perfect gadget for conducting online meetings. This new laptop is also provided a superior interface and user friendly features as it operates on Windows 7 OS. 

    You can have wide options while choosing for the processor. Options range from second generation Core i7, i5 or i3 processor to even third generation Core i7 Quad Core processor. It is supported by Intel HM77 Chipset. The graphics performance of the laptop is managed by one of the most advanced GPUs out in the market, NVIDIA GT650M. 

    It comes with 1GB of DDR3 memory as well. The expandable memory is up to 8 GB of DDR3 with 1333 to 1600 MHz. For secondary storage you can choose from any of the two hard drives of 1 TB or else you can opt for two solid state drives with 240 GB storage capacity. It has options like Blu-ray drive too and also a 9-in-1 card reader. 

    Data transfer options with DreamBook Power W17CR are enhanced by a USB 2.0 port, 3 faster USB 3.0 ports and an eSATA port which is a USB 3.0 combo port. Other connectivity facilities include external VGA port and also HDMI out. 

    The device measures 413 mm (W) x 277.5 mm (D) x 17.1 mm to 41.5 mm (H) and weighs 3.2 kilos. Its powerful 6 cell Lithium-Ion 48.84WH battery is expected to support usage up to 3.7 hours. DreamBook Power W17CR has already reached the grounds of Australia and is expected to hit other laptop markets also without much delay through online retailer shops.


    This new laptop from Pioneer can be purchased at a comfortable price tag of around Rs. 60,000/-. This laptop has hit the Australian laptop market in stylish black outfit. The physical dimension is pretty comfortable to carry while travelling. This new DreamBook laptop from Pioneer is expected to win more customers in the market.
