This rugged notepad will be powered by a customized version of Android 2.3 gingerbread operating system. The device has been placed under the rugged handheld computer category.

Rampage 6 device will be distributed by SDG systems and will be launched by the third quarter of 2012. The rugged device also is expected to make use of an integrated 2-5 meter GPS Receiver. Other key feature, the rugged device has is the presence of a 1D/2D barcode scanner. One of the most important advantages of making use of this rugged device is that it arrives with an optional Class 1, Division 2 certification that ensures that the device is safe to be used even in extreme environments.
