Reliance 3G Tab & Mercury Mtab: Head To Head
Reliance 3G Tablets are designed and manufactured by ZTE and is definitely an Android powered superior performing gadget. The manufacturers have made their new Reliance Tablets affordable in India with its low price tags. The OS of the device is an Android v2.3 Gingerbread OS. But here one will find a smart phone OS instead of the one for tablets which explains its reduced price tags, but it’s nothing to be disappointed about. This one is good too. Meanwhile, the mTab comes with an embedded Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is powered by a triple core processor with 1.2GHz speed.
Mercury mTab features in it a 7 inch TFT display screen of supporting 480 X 800 pixels resolution. This gives it a quality display screen and the image clarity is brilliant. Reliance 3G Tabs has a similar 7 inch touchscreen display and gives the device an impressive outlook with its magnificent display.
Memory configuration for the devices are a 512 MB RAM for both. The data storage capacity of the Reliance Tablet can be expanded to a 32 GB. In addition, Reliance gives a 4 GB free card with every purchase. The competitor has built in 4 GB memory storage and also a 32 GB expandability provision.
Reliance has two cameras, one 2 MP camera in the rear and a secondary camera in the front, which is VGA enabling the video calling option in the device. MTab has a 1.3 MP camera in the front. The connectivity option of the device includes a WiFi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n). For the Reliance Tab, the advantage of superior network support by the Reliance 3G networks is a major bonus. Thus, it’s capable of offering super fast internet and hence a quick access to many online Android applications. Mercury mTab doesn’t have 3G, but it can be accessed with the tab by using an USB dongle.
Both the tablets would feature other general attributes like Document viewers, Navigation apps, etc. Mercury comes in a really affordable price tag, which is Rs 9,499.
