Reliance Communications has recently announced their latest tablet runs on android operating system. The most interesting thing about this device is that this is a CDMA tablet. By rolling out this device Reliance Communications (RCom) has set another milestone by being the first telephone operator to have tablets which support both 3G and CDMA networks.

The newly released CDMA tablets have quite an interesting load of specs and are packed with all the needed features. After the huge success of Reliance 3G tablet this is a very bold move by the company to launch a CDMA tablet.Features and specifications of Reliance CDMA tablet:

The tablet has a very sleek and trendy design. The whole glossy black colour scheme is accentuated by a metallic silver band running around the tablet. There are capacitive touch screen buttons in the front. The connectivity ports are scattered on either sides of the tablet. The 7 inch screen in the tablet has very good quality resolution and the viewing angles and brightness seems to be very impressive. The camera is placed at the rear and has a resolution of 2 mega pixels.

The tablet is supported by Reliance’s CDMA network which is spread over 1000 towns in the country and in about 22 circles. The tablet comes with about 15 useful and most widely used applications. It is also packed with services for social networking, entertainment etc.

The tablet comes with free subscription for McAfee Mobile security for about 1 year and also has free subscription for BigFlix+ for 2 months. The Push mail capability of the tablet will be very useful for business people and people who are constantly on the move since they won’t have to check their emails continuously.

Reliance CDMA tablet comes with a price tag of about Rs.13000/-. This is a very competitive price tag and since it is in the affordable tablet range we can expect that it would attract a large number of prospective customers. The tablet comes with bundled data plan from Reliance and the user can select the most appropriate plan according to the usage.
