Samsung Ativ Smart PC: Top 5 Rivals of Windows 8 Tablet-Laptop Hybrid

On Tuesday, the South Korean tech giant threw surprising waves at the Indian computer market with the launch of Series 5 Ultra Touch ultrabook, Ativ Smart PC and Ativ Smart PC Pro based on Windows 8 operating system.

Coming to the specifications of Ativ Smart PC, the tablet-laptop hybrid packs a 11.6 inch PLS touchscreen display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, Intel Atom Z2760 processor, 8MP rear camera with flash, 2MP front camera for video calling, 2GB RAM, 128GB eMMC memory and a 2-cell battery offering 13.5 hours backup.

Further, Ativ Smart PC comes packed with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and 3G, a micro-HDMI port, a USB 3.0 port, a microSD card reader, a headphone jack and Samsung’s proprietary dock port.

On the pricing front, Samsung has priced Ativ Smart PC tablet at Rs 53,990.
