With the official release of the latest Windows 8 operating system by Microsoft slated for October 26, several hardware partners of the Redmond-based company are coming up with teasers for their upcoming products based on the new OS.
Asus started the tradition of embracing the tablet/laptop transformation and now, Samsung seems to have jumped into this bandwagon. However, the only difference is that the South Korean tech giant will be coming with a hybrid Windows 8 device rather than an Android device.
Samsung has uploaded a video on YouTube to tease its upcoming Windows 8 based hybrid device.
According to a report by Neowin, the video shows glimpses of an unreleased device which looks like a laptop – with a thin keyboard profile, wide screen bezel, a tablet like display and an integrated stylus. Moreover, the video features many animations centered on Leonardo Da Vinci themed clocks and gears states the report.
The teaser video hints at a doubt if the device could be a laptop, but it also could be a tablet with a keyboard dock combo that runs on Windows 8, as these many other manufacturers are coming with such cross models.
The video makes no mention of a date for the announcement, but the description says: "The time is near for the big reveal. "Take a look at this video for a glimpse into our newest Windows-8-ready innovation."
