HP has launched an energy efficient desktop in to the Indian consumer electronic market. The computer is named HP Pavilion P2. The device will be available at a price tag of close to Rs. 24,000/-. This power efficient desktop is designed to save power by almost 60% compared to the normal desktop computers. The computer is targeted to attract the middle class Indian consumers who are conscious about the increase electricity costs.

HP Pavilion 2 makes use of a screen display size of 18.5 inches. The display unit consists of an LED monitor that has built-in speakers in it.
