Sony T-Series Ultrabook review
Sony has announced the availability of its T-Series Ultrabook in the US market. Sony initially launched T-Series Ultrabook in the European market. Inspired by their success, now they are launching the ultrabook in the US market also. Unlike the Sandy bridge processors that was included in the European version, the US version features the latest third generation Intel Ivy Bridge Processors boosting up the overall processing efficiency.
The T-Series Ultrabook includes the T13 and T11, but US consumers will get access to T13 only as of now. The features with these laptops are more or less the same and the display size is the only distinguishable spec. Both these laptops offer resolution of 1366 x 768 with its wide display screen. A 16:9 aspect ratio adds to the display efficiency.
It weighs 3.5 pounds, quite unusual for an Ultrabook. The chassis of this ultrabook is about 0.71 inches thin. The overall stylish outlook has a lot to do with this thin appearance. Its silver outfit also contributes much to its appearance.
These T-Series ultrabooks offer good operating efficiency with Intel Core i3 processor. Windows (7) operating system offers a good interface adding to the overall processing efficiency and ease of use. The integrated HD Graphics 3000 made available with the Intel’s processor manages graphics performance in this Ultrabook.
The storage features of this Sony T-Series Ultrabook are quite good and compared to other relative models. It has a 4 GB system RAM along with a 320 GB hard drive facility. Memory card support with this ultrabooks helps users to add extra storage with ease.
Users have good multimedia features too like an integrated webcam with this Sony T-Series Ultrabook. You can enjoy audio with clarity and good effects using stereo speakers. Users can connect their system wirelessly with 802.11 b, g, n WiFi capability and Bluetooth 4.0. Data transfer is ensured with the provision of USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports.
Sony T-Series Ultrabook T13 can be purchased by spending a reasonable price of around Rs. 40,000/- which is not that hefty for an Ultrabook especially looking at its superior processor, excellent storage facilities and elegant design.
