Sony tablets to get Android ICS OS update in April 2012
Sony, one among the leading player in the digital world is always ahead with its gadgets. Now the company is planning to make some new changes to the tablet series with some updates.
Sony has decided to update Sony tablet S and P with the latest android version 4.0. According to the information available the company has already started testing Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on the tablets. It is expected that the update on the tablets will reach to the public by the mid of April.
There are also rumours that Sony is working on some really cool unique bits which will make the update of the operating system more enriched. Sony tablet S and tablet P are one among the most precious gadgets manufactured by the company. At this point of time the tablets are running on Android Honeycomb version.
Talking about the tablets, Sony Tablet S comes with a 9.4 inches wide screen which is enriched with 16 million colours. The resolution of the tablet is 800 x 1280 pixels. It also features 5 mega pixel camera along with features such as autofocus; touch focus, geo-tagging and much more. It also features high power battery which can provide stand by up to 400 hours and music play back up to 31 hours.
Whereas Sony P tablet comes with a display which is of Dual TFT capacitive touchscreen, enriched with 16 million colours. It also features 5 mega pixel camera which can produce high clarity photos as well as videos. You can also store enough data and files in the tablet as it supports external card up to 32 GB. The battery power management system helps that gadget to run the tablet for 17 hours to listen to music and can provide stand by up to 120 hours.
Both tablets feature some common specifications such as connectivity features. You can find very impressive and fast Bluetooth and Wi-Fi facility. With the latest update it is expected that the tablets will get an impressive and fast platform so that the users will have very fast experience with the tablets. Especially with the user interface where you can get the maximum out of multi touch facility.
Well, the exact date on which the updates will roll out and the procedure for update is yet to be known. It is expected that more details about the Android update will be out in the coming weeks.
