HP Envy x2 is a powerful and ultra-thin hybrid PC, which combines the benefits of two devices (notebook cum tablet) in one. X2 is an 11 inch tablet, which has a keyboard dock and many high-end features like NFC, pen support, aluminium body, IPS display with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and Beats Audio.

Further, Envy x2 has an Atom based Clover Trail processor, HDMI out port, full size SD slot, 64GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 32GB/64GB SSD, optional 3G, Wi-Fi, card slot, m ini HDMI port, dual battery and will be priced at Rs 42,500 approximately.

With similar specifications as Sony Vaio Duo 11 and selling at half its price tag, the HP offering can pose a threat to Sony's Windows 8 hybrid device.
