The 13 inch Sony VAIO was indented to stop the customer going straight for a similarly designed MacBook Pro and it forced the customer to rethink on changing their choice to a Sony VAIO. Now the fight doesn’t seem to be over with Sony challenging the 15 inch Mac Book Pro with a very 15 inch Sony VAIO S. It even costs a few bucks more than the Mac Book Pro.

One might wonder what makes VAIO more special. Let’s see. The 15 inch Sony VAIO is simple in design. The body is black aluminum and is capable of resisting stains from finger print smudges. It comes in a platinum silver colour too. The new VAIO S weighs 4.4 pounds which is comparatively lighter when MacBook weighs 5.6 pounds.

The display of the laptop looks brilliant with its 1920 X 1080 pixel resolution. The blue ray videos could be viewed in their full HD clarity in Sony VAIO S. The 13 inch Sony VAIO S series had a price tag of Rs 62,990 in India. The new 15 inch Sony VAIO S would have a price ranging around Rs 72,000.
