Earlier reports suggest that the upcoming Xperia Tablet will house a 9.4 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet will be equipped with a 1.4GHz quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera and a 6,000 mAh battery, which provides up to 10 hours of backup. Moreover, the tablet is expected to come flavored with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

Price & Availability

When it comes to the pricing of the Xperia Tablet, there are numerous reports claiming different prices. As per the XDA-Developers Forum, the prices of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB variants of the tablet are expected to be $399.99, $499.99 and $599.99 respectively while TheVerge report claims that they will be priced at $449.99, $549.99 and $649.99 respectively.

Moreover, numerous reports have also claimed that the Xperia Tablet will be unveiled at the pre-IFA event on August 29, 2012. However, there is no official word from Sony regarding the pricing and the availability of the Xperia Tablet.
