Toshiba announces C, P, L and S series laptops
Toshiba has now come out with its back to school collection laptops which include the C, P, L and S series laptops. Each of these series laptops are made available to the student community for a screen display size of 14, 15 and 17-inches.
These will also be equipped with comfortable raised tile keyboards along with LED backlighting. A larger and easy to use Click Pad will also be there. Apart from all these, the new series laptops will also have multiple USB ports so as to provide users with faster data transfers. To explore the students’ photographic skills, a HD webcam is also included.
Starting with the new S series model laptops, it has got a brushed up shining aluminium body. S series is also packaged with faster CPU, optional Blu-ray players, four USB 3.0 ports, larger hard drive and discrete graphics with the help of optional AMD Radeon dedicated graphic cards. It is more or less similar to the P series laptops but in S series, the designers have given more emphasis to its top shelf specs. S series will be out in the market by the first half of Q3 this year for a price of around Rs. 40,000/-.
Coming to the high end P series laptops, it has a thinner chassis when comparing with S laptops. It also includes Toshiba’s Resolution Plus, hard drive sensor and glasses free 3D. Moreover, it supports Harman Kardon audio, backlit keys, Sleep and Music USB ports. This premium laptop will reach the customers by June this year at a starting price of around Rs. 40,000/-.
The mainstream L series laptops own a patterned glossy finish outlook. It has got chiclet-style keys. In addition, there is also Toshiba's Sleep and Charge USB ports. There are two USB 3.0 ports included in this laptop. It also supports SRS audio. Moreover a glossy looking lid is included in various colours like red, black, blue and silver so as to attract the youngsters. L series laptops will go on sale at a starting price of around Rs. 23,000/-.
Talking about the entry level low end C series, it has a glossy lid which has been designed to be fingerprint resistant along with a more dated looking deck. As the other new series laptops have, C series also has got USB 3.0 ports but only one in number.
It also supports HDMI. The users can also enjoy decent connectivity, hard drives of up to 500GB, and a DVD optical drive in this C laptop. This entry level laptop will be made available to the customers by the Q3 of this year at a price of around Rs. 20,000/-.
