ViewSonic introduces latest ViewPad 10pi dual OS tablet

ViewSonic has come up with the latest version of their ViewPad tablet and it is named as ViewSonic ViewPad 10 pi. The main notable fact about this tablet is that it is a dual boot device. That is it can incorporate two different operating systems at the same time. Currently it comes with Android 2.3 and Windows 7 professional operating system.

This tablet is made in a candy bar design and is very sleek and compact. The screen has a size of 10.1 inches. It is of LCD capacitive touch screen type and can accept multi touch commands. This enabled you to pinch zoom your pictures and scroll through webpage’s very easily.

The main camera which packs in a resolution of 3.2 mega pixels is enriched with features such as auto focus. This guarantees good quality pictures. The camera can record videos too. The secondary camera is kept in the front top position and is meant for video calling.

The tablet is also provided with SWYPE onscreen keyboard. This lets you type faster than in a normal QWERTY keyboard and is the apt application for typing in long emails and messages. Since it combines the two operating systems it would be very convenient for business professionals and normal users alike.

The entertainment features in the tablet includes a media player. The player has background play back functionality so that you can listen to music while browsing the net or running other applications in the tablet. ViewSonic ViewPad 10 pi comes with a price tag higher than Rs. 40, 000. This is a very high price for a tablet but considering its specifications and dual boot features this device is worth the money. The tablet will probably come into the market some time during the next month itself.
