Viewsonic ViewPad 7e
This impending tablet is named as Viewsonic ViewPad 7e by Viewsonic. It runs on Android Gingerbread 2.3. It is built with 1GHz Arm Cortex-A8 processor and a memory of 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM. Viewsonic ViewPad 7e offers a 7 inch display with a resolution of 800X600 pixels. It is not intended for business users as it equips a resistive touchscreen. Resistive touchscreen is incorporated with two flexible sheets which are separated by microdots. Therefore when the touchscreen comes in contact, the two sheets gets pressed together; it registers the exact location of the touch. It is a kind of passive technology as the touch screen senses the input from any objects that comes in contact with it.
The national sales manager of Viewsonic has revealed that their latest tablets in the ViewPad series are going under the compliance testing in India. He also gave a notice to the Mobile Indian that the latest tablet Viewsonic ViewPad 7e will be launched as soon as possible. By launching this tablet, Viewsonic aims at the educational institutions as well as the students as it is offered at a very low price.
Viewsonic ViewPad 7e is outfitted with a rear camera of 3 megapixels as well as a front camera which is of0.3 megapixels. Apart from this, it chains WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR. Because of these special features the data can be transferred at a high speed. It also enhances the gaming features with the help of Adobe flash 10.3, web media and video steaming. It has a HDMI connection which enables the use of 1080p videos on a large screen. The user also gets an on the go USB port that can be used for the host or device. For data storage the Viewsonic Gingerbread tablet is provided with an internal memory of 4 GB. If the user has to meet any additional memory requirements, then it can be done through the use of a microSD card. The memory capacity of this tablet can be expanded up to 32 GB.
