Zotac launches 3 mini PC models with Intel Celeron processors
ZOTAC is well known in the graphics card segment and when it comes to match box sized computers. Their Zboxmini series is very popular and is widely accepted. During the consumer electronics show they launched three new models. The models belong to the second generation of ZBOX mini PC’s. They are named as ZBOX ID 81, ID 80, and AD04.
All these models come in very small and compact size. You may mistake it for a digital set top box for your TV. But irrespective of their small size they have somewhat impressive processing power and features.
All the three models feature almost same design aspects. The outer covering has a glossy black colour scheme with a circular illuminated blue ring on the side. The device is placed in a vertical orientation and the different connectivity ports are scattered around in the front. There are USB ports, memory card slots and audio and microphone jacks arranged in a line below the power on button.
The devices differ in their configurations. The ZBOX ID 81 is powered by Intel Celeron processor and has an integrated graphics card. It is a dual core processor having a clock speed of about 1.2 GHz.
BOX ID 80 is powered by Intel Atom processor. That too is a dual core processor having a clock speed of 2.13 GHz. This processor has a discrete graphics card too. The graphics processing unit is NVIDIA GeForce and it has 512 MB of dedicated DDR3 type video memory. The final model, which is AD04, is powered by AMD dual processor which has a clock speed of 1.65 GHz and has integrated graphics card.
The rest of the specs and features of the devices are almost same. They are provided with HDMI and DVI ports. Wireless net access is guaranteed by the presence of Wi-Fi in all the devices. They are all integrated with Bluetooth 3.0 too and come with an IR remote.
There are two variants available in all the configurations too. The normal version comes with no memory or hard disk giving the user the chance to add one according to the requirement. The plus version has 2 GB of RAM and 320 GB of hard disk space.
ZOTAC ZBOX ID81, ID 80 and AD04 come with a price tag of Rs.13,333/-,Rs.14,555/- and Rs.16, 999 respectively. There Plus versions has a price tag of Rs.19,999/-,Rs.19,999/- and Rs. 24, 555/- respectively.
