iQOO 12 Is Back in India for Under ₹30,000 — But There’s a Catch You Should Know
The iQOO 12 was one of the hottest flagship phones when it launched in India at the end of 2023, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Fast forward to now, and it’s making a comeback—but not in the way most people expected.
iQOO India has quietly listed the phone on its official store again, this time as a refurbished unit, and the pricing might tempt you to take a closer look.

The Prices Are Almost Too Good
The refurbished iQOO 12 starts at ₹28,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, available in Alpha and Legend finishes. If you want more memory, the 16GB + 512GB version is priced at ₹30,999, again in Alpha and Legend only. The Desert Red option isn’t available.
To put that in perspective, the iQOO 12 originally launched at ₹52,999 and ₹57,999. So yes, the refurbished route cuts the cost nearly in half.
What’s Missing in the Box
Here’s where things change from the brand-new experience. These refurbished units don’t come with accessories—no charger, no cable, and no fancy retail packaging. You only get the phone itself, a product manual, and proof of purchase.
And while there’s an exchange button on the listing page, it doesn’t actually work. I tried swapping an old phone, but the trade-in didn’t lower the cost. Basically, exchange offers, cashback, and coupons don’t apply to refurbished iQOO 12 units.
Warranty Is Still There—With Conditions
The good news is that iQOO isn’t leaving you completely on your own. The refurbished iQOO 12 comes with a one-year brand warranty on hardware issues. That’s more than you usually get with refurbished devices sold through third-party resellers.
But the fine print matters:
- There won’t be a replacement if the device fails, only a repair.
- Warranty covers the phone itself, not extras like the box or manuals.
- You’ll need proof of purchase for any claim.
So while the warranty does add some reassurance, it’s not the same as buying new.
Worth It?
Even two years later, the iQOO 12 is a powerful phone. It’s got a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 144Hz AMOLED display, 120W fast charging, and a triple-camera setup with a periscope zoom lens. Under ₹30,000, that kind of hardware isn’t easy to find, even in today’s mid-range market.
The trade-off, of course, is the “refurbished” tag. You don’t know how much the phone was used before it was fixed up and resold, and you lose out on the brand-new accessories. But if you’re fine with those compromises, the value here is hard to ignore.
