MediaTek and JioThings Unveil “Made in India” Smart Digital Cluster for Electric Two-Wheelers

MediaTek has partnered with JioThings to introduce a "Made in India" Smart Digital Cluster and Smart Module specifically designed for motorcycles and scooters.

This collaboration merges MediaTek's advanced chipset technology with JioThings' digital solutions to offer a unique product for both electric and traditional two-wheeler manufacturers.

Features

At the core of this new solution are MediaTek's MT8766 and MT8768 chipsets, powering an Android-based smart digital cluster. This cluster operates on JioThings' AvniOS, an AOSP-based operating system, providing manufacturers with a high-performance and customizable platform.

The smart digital cluster offers various features:

• Real-time Data Analytics: Riders receive insights into their riding habits and vehicle performance.
• Customizable Interfaces: Personalized dashboards and information displays enhance user experience.
• Voice Recognition: Hands-free control of various features for safer rides.
• Seamless Integration: Connectivity with vehicle controllers, IoT-enabled charging infrastructure, and smart battery management systems, particularly beneficial for EVs.

Comprehensive Digital Suite

Beyond hardware, riders can access Jio's Automotive App Suite, which includes services like Jio Voice Assistant, JioSaavn, JioPages, and JioXploR. These features create a connected experience, enhancing the convenience and functionality of the digital cluster.
