OriginOS 6 India Launch Set for October 15: Full List of Vivo & iQOO Phones Eligible for the Update

Vivo is finally bringing OriginOS 6 — its next big Android 16-based update — to users outside China. The global debut, including India, is confirmed for October 15, marking the official end of Funtouch OS on Vivo and iQOO phones.

Registrations for the OriginOS 6 Preview Program have already begun, with Vivo confirming that shortlisted users will be added to a Telegram group on October 13. The beta rollout will start the same week, running from October 15 to November 6, before the stable update arrives later this year.

Vivo X Series

Vivo’s premium lineup gets top priority, with four years of updates promised for newer models.

Eligible phones:

  • Vivo X200, X200 Pro, X200 Ultra, X200 FE, X200s, X200 Pro mini
  • Vivo X100, X100 Pro, X100 Ultra, X100s, X100s Pro
  • Vivo X90, X90 Pro, X90 Pro+, X90s

Vivo Foldable Series

Foldable models are also part of the first wave of updates.

Eligible phones:

  • Vivo X Fold 5, X Fold 3 Pro, X Fold 2, X Flip

Vivo V Series

Vivo’s mid-range lineup continues to receive long-term support, especially from the V30 series onward.

Eligible phones:

The iQOO lineup will get the new update around the same time as Vivo’s X series, with priority for the latest flagships.

  • iQOO 13, iQOO 12, iQOO 12 Pro, iQOO 11, iQOO 11s, iQOO 11 Pro

iQOO Neo Series

The performance-focused Neo models will continue to receive three years of OS upgrades.

Eligible phones:

  • iQOO Neo 10, iQOO Neo 10R, iQOO Neo 9, iQOO Neo 9 Pro

iQOO Z Series

The Z-series phones, aimed at budget users, typically get two Android upgrades.

Eligible phones:

Rollout Timeline and Beta Details

The OriginOS 6 beta rollout begins October 15, followed by a gradual release across different series until early November. Flagships like the Vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13 will be first in line, with the V and T series expected to follow later.

Mid-range and budget phones, including the Y series, are likely to get the stable version by early 2026.
