Mi Air Purifier 3 with HEPA Filter Launched For Rs. 9,999 In India

Delhi -- the capital of India has been suffering from the worst air quality which could prove to be fatal. At the right time, Xiaomi has launched its latest air purifier -- the Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 3 in India with 3 layer HEPA certified filter.

The Mi Air Purifier 3 does look similar to its predecessors with internal hardware upgrade making it better at air filtration compared to the Mi Air Purifier 2. It offers 360-degree filtration and can be even be used in a large room.

The air purifier comes with a circular touch display that projects information like PM level, temperature, humidity, and wifi network status. Just like the previous iteration -- the Mi Air Purifier 3 is an IoT device and can be controlled using a smartphone even from a remote location. Plus, the built-in laser particulate sensor can detect pollutants and will instantly alert the real-time AQI on the OLED screen.

The company claims that the new HEPA filtration process can remove large airborne particles and can eliminate 99.97 percent of smoke, household dust, pet dander, mold spores, and pollens. Besides, it can filter particles that are as small as 0.3 microns.

The Mi Air Purifier also has a special activated charcoal layer that can filter out particles like formaldehyde, and other toxic substances. The new air-flow mechanism used on the air purifier can process up to 6333 liters of air per minute and uses a centrifugal fan and a brushless motor to achieve the same.

The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier is also power-efficient, as it just consumes 0.9kWh of power per day. Just like every other Mi Air Purifier, it comes with an easy to replace the filter.
