PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for September 2025: WWE 2K25, Persona 5 Tactica, Green Hell & More

Sony has revealed its PlayStation Plus lineup for September, and it’s one of those months where there’s no single theme. Instead, you get a mix of blockbuster wrestling, tactical spin-offs, gritty survival, and even a throwback to a PS2 classic.

All titles will be available to Extra and Premium subscribers starting September 16.

WWE 2K25

The headline game this month is WWE 2K25. Wrestling fans will notice some big changes, including intergender matches and the return of chain wrestling. Paul Heyman takes center stage in a showcase focused on The Bloodline, letting players revisit one of wrestling’s most dominant storylines.

MyRISE has also been updated, merging men’s and women’s storylines into a single campaign. Add in new match types like Bloodline Rules and barricade dives, and this entry feels like it’s trying to give fans a broader toolkit than last year’s version.

Persona 5 Tactica

On the other end of the spectrum is Persona 5 Tactica. It trades the traditional life-sim and RPG mechanics for turn-based strategy. The Phantom Thieves find themselves pulled into a militarized realm run by the Legionnaires. A new character, Erina, offers them help—but with strings attached.

The grid-based combat and tactical focus give players a chance to experience the cast in a new way, while still tying into Persona’s familiar themes of rebellion and trust.

Green Hell

Survival games are known for pushing players to the edge, and Green Hell sticks closely to that formula. Dropped into the Amazon rainforest, you’ll need to gather food, craft tools, build shelters, and maintain your character’s physical and mental health.

Unlike many survival games, this one leans on real-world techniques, making it less about fantasy and more about endurance. It supports up to four players in co-op, which can shift the challenge from purely personal survival to group coordination.

Fate/Samurai Remnant

Fans of the Fate series get something new with Fate/Samurai Remnant. It’s set in Edo Japan, decades after a turbulent period of war. The game revolves around the Waxing Moon Ritual, where seven pairs of Masters and Servants compete in a new take on the Holy Grail War.

You play as Miyamoto Iori, a swordsman pulled into the conflict. It’s an action RPG at heart, but the setting and story give it a historical twist that helps it stand apart from other entries in the series.

Crow Country

Not every addition is a blockbuster. Crow Country is a retro-inspired survival horror game set in a deserted theme park. The disappearance of the park’s owner, Edward Crow, drives the story, while the 1990s-style visuals and gameplay pay homage to early PlayStation horror.

It’s the kind of smaller title that can surprise you if you’re looking for something atmospheric.

The Invincible

For something more philosophical, The Invincible drops you onto the alien world of Regis III. You play as Yasna, an astrobiologist searching for missing crewmates.

Every decision you make influences the story, with multiple possible endings. It’s less about action and more about choices, so it will appeal to players who like narrative-driven science fiction.

Conscript

Conscript looks back at World War I through a survival horror lens. You play as a French soldier searching for his brother during the Battle of Verdun.

The game mixes puzzle-solving and resource management with pixel-art visuals, creating a stark and tense atmosphere. It’s a niche experience, but one that fits into the growing catalog of experimental survival horror.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance

Finally, Premium subscribers get access to Legacy of Kain: Defiance. The PS2-era cult classic has been emulated for PS4 and PS5, letting players step into the roles of Kain and Raziel once again.

The gothic world of Nosgoth returns, with hack-and-slash combat and a storyline that defined the series. For long-time fans, it’s a rare chance to revisit a title that hasn’t been widely available in years.
