GTA 6 Price and Pre-Order Bonuses Officially Revealed: Everything You Need to Know
After months of speculation, dread, and a whole lot of worst-case-scenario math, Rockstar has confirmed what GTA 6 is actually going to cost. The standard edition is priced at $79.99, and the Ultimate Edition comes in at $99.99. Pre-orders open at midnight on June 25, which is tonight.
The figures were confirmed by Geoff Keighley of The Game Awards ahead of the pre-order window going live. It's a $10 jump from the current $70 AAA standard, but well short of the $100 base game many had feared. Given the scale of what Rockstar is putting out, it could have been worse.

What You Get With Each Edition
The standard edition at $79.99 gets you the game. Everyone who pre-orders or purchases before November 20 also gets the Vintage Vice City Pack, which includes a 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan and garage in Ocean Beach, retro outfits and hairstyles for both Jason and Lucia, and an iconic weapon pattern.
The Ultimate Edition at $99.99 adds a premium collection of vehicles, weapons, and apparel woven across Jason and Lucia's story. The additional content includes a 1967 Vapid Dominator Buggy with a Paradise Garage in Watson Bay, a 1995 Grotti Cheetah sports car, personalised weapon variants for both characters, and more items unlocked chapter by chapter as you progress through the story.
One thing though, physical copies don't include a disc. You get a code in the box instead, which also supports pre-loading.
Pre-Loading Starts November 12
Rockstar has confirmed that pre-loading for digital copies begins November 12, a full week before the November 19 launch date. So if you pre-order digitally, the game will be ready to go the moment servers open on launch day.
No Trailer 3 Yet
Fans were expecting GTA 6 Trailer 3 to drop alongside the price reveal and pre-order announcement. It didn't happen. Rockstar has only said that marketing is in full swing this summer, so it's coming, just not today.
What About PC?
No PC release date has been confirmed. GTA 6 launches exclusively on PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on November 19. Based on Rockstar's history with GTA 5, which took around 18 months to come to PC after its console debut, a PC version is widely expected but not imminent.
