MSI Claw Handheld Gaming Console Launched with Intel Core Ultra CPUs, Arc Graphics, Windows 11
The MSI Claw, a new player in the handheld gaming industry, was unveiled at CES 2024 and is now available for purchase in the US and selected markets. This device joins a competitive field, going head-to-head with the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, among others.
The base model, A1M-052US, features an Intel Core Ultra 5-135H processor and operates on Windows 11 Home. Two additional high-end variants equipped with the Core Ultra 7 processor are set to be released on March 12.

MSI Claw Pricing and Availability
The MSI Claw A1M-052US variant, with a Core Ultra 5 processor and 512GB SSD storage, is priced at $699 (roughly Rs 57,800). The other versions, A1M-051US and A1M-050US, come with the Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU and 512GB and 1TB SSD storage, priced at $749 (roughly Rs 61,950) and $799 (roughly Rs 66,200) respectively.
The base model is currently available in Black at the MSI store in the US and through select retailers in other markets. As of now, there is no information about the launch of the MSI Claw in India.
MSI Claw Specifications
MSI's handheld gaming console boasts a 7-inch Full-HD IPS touchscreen display, offering 500nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Claw can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7-155H processor. It comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed.
The MSI Claw also features 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, expandable via MicroSD. It also features Intel Arc graphics. The gaming console supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C port, and a headphone/mic combo jack.
Additionally, it includes dual speakers, RGB ABXY buttons, thumb sticks, a D-pad, triggers, bumpers, HD haptics, and a fingerprint scanner. Its Cooler Boost HyperFlow technology ensures efficient heat management during gameplay. The handheld packs a 6-cell, 53WHr battery, supporting 65W USB PD 3.0 charging.
